Through the use of a case study, the class covers and demystifies the process of business continuation planning, estate planning, and insurance planning when the owner of a privately-held business is killed.

This course will discuss the public's expectations; the professional's responsibilities; rules and principles; continuing education requirements; and State's of Insurance Department special efforts to fight unauthorized entities.  A portion of the course will be devoted to the Board of Professional Review misconduct cases of various types.  Ken Zahn has been an arbitrator and an expert witness for both the plaintiff and the defendant in financial planning cases.  He will be the presenter for this board-based discussion of ethical behavior by professionals.
